Asjad Nazir is a London-based media leader and record-breaking journalist, best known for the world’s longest-running double-page weekly newspaper column and over 13 million published words. He has written for numerous publications including The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Daily Mail, PA News and Time Out, along with being a media commentator on leading platforms like BBC radio/TV and Sky News. He served as Arts/Entertainment Editor at Eastern Eye for over two decades. He is also the author of three landmark books on Bollywood history, and ghost written multiple projects that have reached major platforms.

Asjad has interviewed more than 1,000 global icons — from Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Dev Patel and Amitabh Bachchan to Richard Branson, Jon Hamm and Sigourney Weaver. He has built an unparalleled global network spanning A-list stars, studio heads, and cultural leaders. His work has been covered by over 600 media organisations globally. 

Beyond journalism, he advises on film, TV, and projects in the UK and internationally, offering strategic insight, market positioning, and cultural authenticity. His work has supported red carpet events, major  movies, film festivals, major cultural events, documentaries and music launches, while helping over 2,000 emerging talents find their platform. His other initiatives include hosting the  only Bollywood podcasts for Apple iTunes Meet The Filmmaker series (with  A list stars) and hosting post-screening talks with filmmaker at major festivals.
